Children and Youth Opportunities

Adult Groups

All Christian Education programs and congregational care ministries follow Safe Sanctuaries.   Safe Sanctuaries is a policy and training curriculum mandated by our denomination and insurance to help our local church protect our children, youth, and homebound adults.  You may download Ada First UMC's Safe Sanctuary Policy to review.   If you would like to work with our children, youth, or homebound adults, please contact Pastor Andy to receive training. 

The teen/high school Sunday School class meets in the Youth Group room from 9 - 9:45 am on Sunday mornings with breakfast provided. This will be for youth 4th - 12th grade. 

The church facility is utilized by Busy Bee, a licensed preschool, child care, and after school care provider for children age 3 and older. For more information about enrollment, or to meet with the teachers, call 567-674-6288.

The Chancel Choir sings weekly in the 10:00 a.m. worship service and is open to anyone from high school and college students through older adults. Please consider joining the choir for rehearsals on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the choir room on the second floor.  If you have questions about the choir, please talk to the director, Mr. Scott Henning, after worship or contact the church office. 

The church owns a 3-octave set of handbells. The handbell team meets on Thursday evenings at 6 pm. If you are interested, stop by the rehearsal, see Mr. Scott Henning after worship, or contact the church office.
